United States of Double A

With the downgrade of the United States by Standard & Poor’s, I think it is interesting to see just where that places us.  I always think of ratings as relative metrics.   This just means that the absolute rating is not important, but the relative rating is.  It is very enlightening to see just how many developed countries are above us in financial metrics.  Do you feel comfortable being one notch above Abu Dhabi, Bermuda, Kuwait, Slovenia, Spain and Qatar?
